How to setup trading connector with MetaTrader?
Prerequisite
Before you begin, please read Limitations of MetaTrader with Trading Connector to understand MetaTrader’s constraints.
MetaAPI Registration
To use MetaTrader with TraderToolsPro, you first need a MetaAPI account, a third‐party MetaTrader service provider.
- Go to metaapi.cloud and sign up for a free account.
Adding MT Account
- In MetaAPI’s MT Accounts page, click “Add Account.”
- Fill in the form with these values:

MetaTrader login | Your MT4/MT5 account ID |

MetaTrader server | Your MT broker’s server name |
After filling in, accept both broker rules to create the account.
Generating API Token

On your MT account page, click the three-dot menu and select “Account access token.”

Scroll down to “Validity,” choose “Infinity,” then click “Generate API Access Token.”

Copy the generated token and store it securely for later use.
Copying Account ID
Return to the MT Accounts list, find your new account, and click the “Copy” icon next to its ID.
Configuring Trading Connector
In the TraderToolsPro Dashboard, go to Trading Connectors → Trading Accounts → Create. Follow the “Setting up a Trading Account” guide for all fields, but set these values:
